911T Targa Florio
- Color: Lightblue/orange
- Interior: Racing seats, black
- Special: Targa Florio winner 1969
This one-of-a-kind Porsche 911T was class winner at the Targa Florio in 1969, a long-distance race on the mountain roads of Sicily, which this year was part of the legendary World Sportscar Championship. According to the present Porsche vehicle registration card, the car was delivered in color burgundy red 6808 combined with beige artificial leather interior to its first owner Paolo Nina to Rome. In addition, special alloy wheels and headlight halogen were ordered. In addition, it was noted that on 25.03.1969, just before the start of the Targa Florio, the “engine was brought to peak performance”. The two riders Everardo Ostini and Gianpiero Moretti took the 1st place in the GT class from 1,601 to 2,000 cc. In 1970, the vehicle was rebuilt according to new Group 4 regulations. Presumably at this time the original narrow body shape was changed to the broad, as the photo documentation on old pictures and in the literature show the car in the season 1969 with a narrow body, but widened in the 1971 season. 1971/72, the 911 was used in other races in Italy. A few years ago, the vehicle was then completely disassembled, repainted, and in 2011 the engine overhauled. This particular Porsche already has a coveted DMSB car pass (Competition GT Car FIA Class GTS21), which is required for participation in historic motorsport, as well as a German H-approval. Take this chance and get this amazing Porsche 911 with fantastic race history, speed and performance.
